Hello everyone! Hope you had a great weekend!
So, you decided to start doing some changes at home, well, first of all, CONGRATS! That’s a very important step; right after the excitement though, comes the scary question: Where do I start???? It can be overwhelming at first, but don’t worry, once you’re on track, you can never go back! These are a couple of simple steps you can do before you start redecorating your space…
TAKE a Before and After Pic
This will help you differentiate before and after all the clutter is gone. It’s very important that we see our home as an outsider; otherwise we will never see the mess as a whole. Put yourself in the entry, take a picture of the space, and save it for the after shot. This always helps!
YOU MUST clear the space.
Even though it sounds painful and tedious, it has to be done, leave your heart and emotions on the side and start cleaning up; if it’s necessary, invite someone over to help you out during the process. If there are things that cannot be thrown away, buy storage boxes, some duck tape and black marker so you know exactly what goes in each box. You can arrange by Christmas, accessories, clothes, books, etc. whatever you have the most and want to put away. Target, Costco, and Wal-Mart, to name a few, have great storage boxes, but if you want to go pro with this, The Container Store is a company that has tons of items and cool ideas to organize your precious belongings.

REARRANGE
Before you realize, a great portion of your space will look empty, that’s a good sign though!!! Once you’re in this stage, start rearranging things, you probably didn’t like to sofa were it was, but you just couldn’t put it someplace else because of the clutter, well, now you can. Play with your furniture, take all the art frames down and place them in a different spot, this will give you a sense of a new space, your space will be clear and your mind will be clear as well.
The Oooh La La of smelling something fresh!
Don’t you just love when you walk into a place and it smells amazing? After you’re done with all your fantastic work, light up a scented candle, this will give warmth and a beautiful finishing touch to your newly renovated space…mmmmmm

Hola a todos! Espero hayan tenido un excelente fin de semana!
Bueno, decidiste empezar a hacer cambio en tu casa, antes que nada, FELICIDADES! Esto es un paso muy importante, aunque después de la emoción, viene la pregunta que todo mundo quiere evadir: Dónde empiezo??? Al principio puede ser mucho para digerir, pero no te preocupes, una vez que empiezas, no puedes parar! Aquí te doy unos consejitos para que puedas empezar a organizer tu espacio….

Toma Fotos de Antes y Después
Esto te va a ayudar para apreciar el antes y después de tu trabajo. Es muy importante ver nuestra propia casa como una persona externa, de otra manera nunca vamos a poder apreciar dónde esta el problema. Posiciónate en la entrada principal, toma una foto de las areas que vas a limpiar, guárdala para compararla con la foto del después. Esto siempre ayuda!
TIENES que despejar el espacio.
Aunque se escuche doloroso y tedioso, se tiene que hacer. Deja tu corazón y tus emociones a un lado y empieza a limpiar. Si es necesario, invita a alguien para que te ayude en el proceso. Si hay cosas que en verdad no te puedes deshacer de ellas, guárdalas en una caja. Compra cajas de plástico o de cartón, cinta adhesiva y un marcador negro para que puedas identificar que va en cada caja. Puedes poner nombres, como artículos de Navidad, accesorios, ropa, libros, etc. Target, Costco y Wal-Mart, por nombrar algunas, tienen muchos artículos para organizar. Si te quieres ver como toda una experta, The Container Store es una excelente compañía donde vas a encontrar miles de artículos para guardar tus tesoros más preciados.

Cuando menos pienses, gran parte del cuarto que estés limpiando va a estar despejado, éstas son buenas noticias!!! Cuando ya estés en esa fase, empieza a reacomodar tus muebles, tal vez no te gustaba dónde estaba tu sillón, pero no lo podías cambiar por tantas cosas que tenías, pero ahora ya puedes. Juega con tus muebles, quita todos tus accesorios de las paredes y cámbialos de lugar, esta actividad le dará un aire fresco a tu casa, Despejará tu espacio y tu mente.

No te encanta cuando entras a un lugar y huele delicioso? En cuanto termines de hacer tu limpieza, prende una vela aromática, esto le dará calidez y un toque muy especial a tu espacio recién renovado…mmmmmmm

el "oh La La de un buen aroma" es super importante! muyyyy cierto! tan cierto como cuando entras a una casa en venta, si huele mal esta en un NO rotundo, en cambio tiene un buen aroma y hasta quisieras quedarte a dormir YA! nice tip para los realtors....
