Debo confesar que me declaro fan del estilo contemporáneo y moderno, sin embargo me encanta este estilo ultra femenino, divertido y muy variado. El color y los accesorios únicos son lo que hacen un hogar divertido y diferente. Te gusta este estilo? hoy vas a aprender a decorar algo clásico con un toque moderno, sigue estos tips y verás que fácil será:
El área puede estar decorada con piezas antiguas o "vintage", como un candelabro, una lámpara de herrería, un accesorio viejo, etc. Pero el punto focal del espacio debe ser un artículo moderno, puede ser un cuadro grande con una obra de arte muy moderna, un sillón súper moderno, o una mesa padre.
Crea drama en la habitación. Los colores pueden ser suaves, pero agrega personalidad con cortinas pesadas, un espejo muy grande y ornamentado o un candelabro a media altura. Esto le dará el toque especial junto al punto focal moderno.
Mezcla colores fríos con colores cálidos. Puede que tu gama de colores esté basada en tonos cálidos, pero trata de incorporar colores fríos, o viceversa, en los accesorios y muebles. Esto creará un balance en la atmosfera.

I have to confess that I'm a big fan of contemporary and modern styles, that being said, I also have to mention that I love this style for being ultra feminine y different. Color and accessories are a very important and unique way to make a home fun and unique. Do you like this style? Today you're going to learn how to decorate an edgy classic room, just follow these tips and you'll have it in no time...
The room can be decorated with antique or vintage items, like a chandelier, an iron lamp, an old accessory, etc. Even though you have all these antiques, your focal point has to be a modern item, it can be an abstract art piece, a modern sofa, or a unique, clean lined coffee table.
Create room drama. Your color palet can be subtle, but add personality with high mounted curtains in heavy fabric, a big ornamented mirror or a mid height chandelier. Combine your "drama" piece with your unique focal point item.
Try to mix warm with cool colors. Maybe your color palet is made with warm colors, but try to mix them up with cool colors by adding accesories or furniture. This will create a welcoming and comfy mood to the environment.
