Espero estén disfrutando de sus lindas vacaciones. Esta semana me dediqué a buscar lugares donde no solo tuvieran un buen diseño, también que transimitieran lo divertido y placentero sería estar ahí. Con tantas cosas que pasan en este mundo, es importante descontectarse de vez en cuando y buscar lugares que te hagan pasar un momento agradable.
Llegué tan inspirada de todo lo que vi, que hoy voy a compartir parte de mi experiencia y vamos a diseñar un espacio lleno de color, de texturas y sobre todo de buena vibra! Vamos a diseñar un espacio llamado Gráfico Divertido...espero les guste!
Paso Número 1: Agrega color al espacio
Observa el espacio detenidamente, imagínatelo como si fuera un lienzo (canvas). Normalmente el lienzo es blanco, o crema, así ve el espacio. Píntalo de un color claro o neutro para que te sea mas fácil decorarlo con cualquier tipo de muebles y accesorios. Estaría perfecto si ese espacio claro tuviera un piso de contraste, como una madera color chocolate o un piso obscuro, si es así, va ser mucho mas fácil decorarlo. Agrega toques (acentos) de color, puedes agregar una mesa color naranja, un cuadro con los colores primarios (Rojo, Azul y Amarillo), al igual que accesorios. Esta es la manera mas fácil de obtener este look, pero claro, puedes utilizar cualquier gama de color que quieras.
Paso Número 2: Junto pero no revuelto
Si el espacio que estás diseñando esta completamente abierto, y tienes 3 habitaciones en un solo lugar (Entrada, sala y comedor), tal vez sea más sano que los separes. Separarlo no significa levantar un muro jeje. Puedes poner un biombo que permita separar los espacios y que entre luz al mismo tiempo. Esto te va ayudar para que tu casa este seccionada y le des la importancia suficiente a cada espacio. Ahora bien, si tu espacio es muy pequeño, no importa, olvídate del biombo y divide o separa el espacio con accesorios. Plantas o un accesorio que cuelgue cumple con la función.
Paso Número 3: Menos es más
Trata de tener lo menos posible. Parece fácil, pero adquirir este tipo de ilusión es bastante difícil. Es cuestión de saber exáctamente dónde y cómo acomodar las cosas. No sobrecargues los espacios con demasiados accesorios, recuerda que entre más simple, más elegante y más fácil de limpiar :) Si tienes una pared suficientemente grande, cuelga un espejo para que tenga la sensación de amplitud.
Paso Número 4: Todo casual, nada formal
Trata de acomodar todo de una manera ligera, divertida y casual. Recuerda, es un espacio que debe ser relajante e inspirador. No pongas piezas muy caras ni serias, pon cosas que se vean divertidas y que crean un sentido de curiosidad para la persona que este ahí. Compra cosas que tengan personalidad y que sean originales.

I hope youre having a great Spring Break! I've been looking for fun, cheerful spaces that they're not only colorful and have a great design, but they're also full of great vibes.With all the bad things happening around the world nowadays, its nice to have a space where you feel comfortable and happy.
I was so inspired with what I saw, that I am going to share part of my experience and help you design a space full of color, fun textures and overall a great place to be in. We're going to design a space called Fun Graphics! I hope you like it!
Step 1: Add color to the space
Observe the space, imagine it as if it was a huge canvas. Canvas are typically white or cream. Paint the walls in a white or neutral color, it will be much easier to add furniture and accesories to a space with neutral colors. It would be great if the space had a floor that would contrast with the walls, like a hardwood in a chocolate color, or a floor that would have a great contrast, if you have these two things figured out, then it will be much more easier to decorate with the rest of the items. Add some accents in primary colors. For example, it can be an orange side table, or some cute accesories in primary colors (Red, Blue or Yellow). This is the easiest way to get the look, but of course, you can use any color palet that you like.
Step 2: Divide and Connect
If you have 3 areas in one single space, (Entry, living room and dining room), it's much more fun if you separate them. Separating the rooms doesn't mean you have to put a wall in between them haha. You can easily separate a room by adding a screening panel, it will not only divide areas, but it will also let light and air come in. This will help you priorotize each space. Now, if your space is quite small, don't worry, you can always separate with plants and accesories.
Step 3: Less is more
Try to have the least as possible. This may sound easy, but it can be quite difficult. It all depends on where and how you're going to arrange things. Don't over crowd the area with tons of accesories, remember that the simpler, the cleaner and the better :) If you have a big wall, hang a mirror, the mirror will give bring openess to the space.
Step 4: Everything casual, nothing formal
Try to arrange everything in a fun, relaxed way. Remember, you're designing a space so it can be a point of inspiration. Don't buy expensive or too serious items. Try to put simple accesories that will have personality and will create a sense of curiosity on the viewer. Buy things that are original and have a personality of their own.
